That depends on how many authors you are talking about. There are various rules in APA for citing sources with 2, 3, 4, 5 or more authors.

I used a book that had 6 authors. In such a case, you just need to mention the name of the first or prime author, followed by et al. Here’s an example: Parker et al.

For 2 authors, you will have to write the names and date every time you cite them, for ex. Goody and Kelly (2010).
